Sean McGinley

About The Author

Sean McGinley was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and grew up in rural Sonoma County, California. She studied molecular biology and virology at UC Berkeley before finding her true calling during the early AIDS crisis in San Francisco, where she worked with compassion and courage to care for patients in need.

After retiring, she taught as a medical instructor for the Berkeley Fire Department. She now lives on the San Francisco Bay with her husband and two Siamese cats. Simples is her debut novel, a reflection of her lifelong fascination with science, empathy, and the endurance of the human spirit.
